Managing your data

The information you supply or we collect about you may be used by us and our agents for the purposes of prevention, detection and deterrence of insurance fraud.

The easiest way to request the information the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) holds about you is to complete the following Data Subject Access Request.

Please note that the IFB is required to confirm your identity, so you will also need to enclose one of the following:

  • Utility bill
  • Local authority tax bill
  • TV licence
  • Recent bank / credit card statement
  • Current insurance certificate
  • Correspondence from HMRC
  • Land registry confirmation
  • Vehicle registration document
  • Student loan statement

You will receive a reply from us within 30 days of receipt of this completed form by the Insurance Fraud Bureau.
