IFB welcomes new insurer and broker members

22 May 2017

Mulsanne Insurance and broker Premium Choice have become the latest members of the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB).

Alongside the addition of 10 new Affiliate Members in April and Carrot Insurance in January 2017, the IFB’s membership base continues to grow, which is a testament to the industry’s ever-increasing appetite to stamp out fraud, according to the Bureau’s Director, Ben Fletcher.

“The insurance industry’s collaborative efforts to fight fraud, including its central data and intelligence sharing through the IFB, is the envy of many other sectors,” Fletcher said. “The addition of new members strengthens the industry’s position against the fraudsters that attack us every day.”

“As an insurer member, the addition of Mulsanne’s data to the IFB’s sophisticated analytics software, will further enhance our capability to proactively identify fraud networks. As a broker, Premium Choice hold that first point of contact with consumers, and are therefore a vital component in the industry’s first line of defence.”
